The Supreme Court of Pakistan is the highest Court in the land, with several specific powers, both de jure and de facto.
Its permanent seat is at Islamabad.
On 20 July 2007 the Court overturned the March 2007 direction of the President and reinstated Chief Justice Chaudhry.
